Destiny "Dez" Arroyo (she/they) is a Mexican/American nonbinary artist, actor, and cosplayer based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Having received a BFA in Animation and Game Arts from Moore College of Art and Design in 2025. Acting and performing served as a major part of Dez's foundational years before her shift to visual arts.

Originally from New York City, Dez always surrounded herself with cartoons, video games, and online content. First being exposed to cosplay in 2016 through vlog-style videos about comic conventions, or "Con-Vlogs," alongside short-form videos on musical.ly (now TikTok).​Dez's decision to get into the cosplay hobby in 2022 was influenced by the release of Netflix's Arcane: League of  Legends.​ Having cosplayed for nearly four years, through a variety of beloved characters, loving the process from start to finish.

Since graduating from art school and further evolving her cosplay skills,  Dez decided to take the plunge back into acting with an interest in dramas, slice of life, and anything fantasy or supernatural. Some of their favorite non-animated films and shows include Wolfblood, Yellowjackets, Room, Please Stand By, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, and Wednesday.
